| THE NEW PUBLIC MENACE |
| 2007-09-25 |
A few years ago, there was a lot of media attention put onto people who listen to music on their personal stereos on public transport. The reason was to get them to turn their music down so others did not have to suffer the "chica chica chica" sound from their headphones. I can understand why as it would be very annoying to have to listen to that on a journey. Now I have a new annoyance. Last night, as I made my way home, I walked into the usual train station. In front was a teenage schoolgirl, and she had music playing from her mobile phone (you know the ones that have little speakers on the back of them)., and it was quite loud. I followed her down the ramp to the platform (where she stopped walking) and I continued further up the platform. When I stopped, There was another teenage schoolgirl playing music from her mobile phone. At this point, it was not really a problem as there was enough background noise to make the music tolerable. The real annoying bit came when I got on the train and sat down. A teenage school boy decided to stand close to me, playing his music very loud. Don't get me wrong, I like music, and he can listen to his R&B stuff if he wants to, but I don't think that I should have listen to his crap, nor should anyone else. I was a inch away from telling him to turn it off, but luckily for him, he got of at the next station. Afterwards, I thought that this will be the next menace and unsocial monster on public transport, and even in the streets. Next time, I will tell whoever it is to turn their f***ing crap off!!!! That is my winge for today |

| TBLOG PORN???? |
| 2007-09-25 |
I dont know if any of you who visit this blog are aware that I did have a blog running on TBLOG (the sister weblog to shoutpost). It has been shut down due to it's adult nature, which I was LITTLE PISSED about, since it did not contain any pornographic images as such, but did have an adult theme to it, and links to more adult orientated sites. Anyway, that blog i was running proved a very popular one, having over 150,000 hits in nearly 3 years. So i have started to think that I might start another one up. Not here though. I will keep this blog CLEAN and smut free, because if i dont it will be shut down. But my new blog will not be pornographic as such, more erotic, and not always containing any nudity. I find a scantilly clad woman who is not showing any of the "interesting bits" more interesting and erotic than the one who shows everything. It must be the not knowing that proves erotic. Once I have it up and running, I will put the link in the nav bar and promote it in any posts that I do here, though I will always attach a warning that it contains images and content of an adult theme. I hope I hear some yays or nays to this, as i love controversy!!!!!!!!!! |

| SELF SHOOTERS!!!!! |
| 2007-09-20 |
When i was surfing the net looking for a decent online image host, I stumbled across someones collection of pictures that they took of themselves, most were clothed but this girl also did nude stuff too. Here she is-
Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed them and even accessed more via the tag of 'self shooters'. I found hundreds of them, individual pictures, a few of the same girl or whole sets. I suppose there will be a lot since digital and telephone cameras are cheap and most people have them. But it did raise a few questions in my head. - Do they know that their images are being circulated worldwide?
- Did they indend them to go on the web or did some pissed off boyfriend put them on there for spite?
- Out of a hundred people, what percentage would say that they have taken a picture of themselves in the nude or with very little on?
- Have you ever done it? (If so, can I see them?.......joke...lmao)
I have, I must admit, have you???? |

| GUILTY McCANNS? |
| 2007-09-19 |
It is horrible when disasters strike and there are significant loss of life or damage. Or when horrible things happen to innocent individuals. But what really gets me pissed is when these instances become a major media circus. It ends up in your face for weeks on every news channel, and it then stops me from feeling sorry for the victims, and I end up with the "Couldn't care less" attitude. One such media circus that is going on at the moment is the McCann case. (For those who do not know about this, you are lucky, but do a Google search by all means). I have gone from feeling sorry for the parents (BTW, they were totally irresponsible for leaving their 3 children unsupervised while they sat at a restaurant having dinner, and considering they are both doctors, it beggars belief!!!!), to thinking that they are covering up Madeline's death. (A death which I think happened as an accident through parental incompetence and they have cooked up this abduction story to stop themselves getting into trouble). But what gets me, is Richard Branson has put up £100,000 for the legal bills because the Portuguese Police see them as suspects. They have raked in so much money in the Madeline fund, they have a professional spokesperson to do the talking for them, and lord know the amount of celebrities and sports people who have helped to raise the profile of the missing Madeline. Why have other parents of missing children not had this attention and support? What is so special about the McCanns? It makes me feel even more against them and wish that they are guilty and they get found out, so all these big name supporters e.g. Richard Branson, end up with egg on their face. Controversial I know, but it is how I feel. |

| ANDOVER TRIP |
| 2007-09-18 |
We went and visited my wifes sister in Andover, Hampshire, at the weekend. My wifes daughter stayed with her sister while we stayed at a Bed & Breakfast. The B&B was out in the country, and we had to go through a tiny little village to get to it. Just about all the houses had thatched roofs, it did look and amazing sight. Felt like you had gone back in time. The first picture is our B&B,my wife is standing in the doorway. The second is some of the houses in the village.

| NO OFFENCE |
| 2007-09-18 |
Looks like my new header has not cause anyone any offence yet, which is good. I did try to do it in a very artistic way without it looking pornographic. (If anyone remembers me from TBLOG, I used to have a blog there that was adult orientated. Although I tried to avoid putting nake pictures on that blog, i did supply links to "interesting sites". But none of that will happen here, as I will get banned!!! LMAO)

| Language Evolution |
| 2007-09-17 |
Without trying to sound......intelligent, but there is no such word as prodical (ref. to Surrogates comment in my last post). There is the word prodigal, which is actually the same word, with the same meaning. Is this an example of how languages change and evolve over years, where we speak this word with a C even though it is spelt with a G. The english language has constantly evolved and changed throughout the centuries. I wonder if other languages do? I assume they do, unless you know different. ( I do actually, the gaelic spoken in the western isles of Scotland cannot create new words, so if you watch a programme on television that is in gaelic, many of the words are english!) |

| Cursed to return |
| 2007-09-17 |
I feel cursed. Cursed with the need to return to my blog. I run out of interesting things to say, stop blogging, then return months later, full of determination to run my blog properly - like now....again. I do find my life rather boring, but, i sippose other enjoy the ramblings of others, to gain an insight into their lives and to see if there is any similarity...or not! I think I will start here again, and just do what has gone on in my life, past (dodgy) present and future. I have also been tinkering around with Yahoo360, so if any of you are out there, and are on yahoo360, i am on there as raggedtigeruk. |

| WHAT DO YOU READ? |
| 2007-05-23 |
Thank you to everyone who visited and commented. So, if you wanna hear what I am up to and what I have been doing since I have been away, then I will. But not in one post.....I will spread it out a little...give me something to write...lmao. OK, I am not a great reader of books, and a book really has to grab me by the short and curlies within the first couple of chapters, if not, I will never read it. I have been reading books by Simon Scarrow - his Eagle series. They are brilliant, all about 2 Roman Centurions, Starting from the Roman conquest of Britain in 43AD. Full of adventures, intrigue and battles. Superb. SO WHAT BOOKS/AUTHORS DO YOU LIKE? |

| 2007-05-22 |
I have been away, just from shout post. Only because I got bored of the blog thing.....ran out of things to say etc. I have several blogs on the go,and i always thought that tblog was the best because of the chatbox. But all of them have lasped. I have read a lot of different blogs. Some ramble on about different things, be it poetry, religion, or they are able to write a massive post about their day (my day can be summed up in a couple of sentances usually!)But I prefer the shorter posts,....WHAT DO YOU THINK???? WHAT TYPE OF POSTS INTEREST YOU? |

| Marriage split |
| 2007-01-15 |
Isn't it strange. Couples who you think are in a strong and reliable relationship and end up splitting up just goes to show you that the only certainties in life are taxes and death. This man that I work with whom I am friends with has just split with his wife, and really I would have said that (going by the conversations I have with him) their marriage was strong and very easy going. Not so. She, apparently, reckons they have drifted apart and she reckons they need some time apart. I suppose it does not mean the end of the road for them, and I hope it can work out for them, but so many times I have seen relationships have this ‘break apart' and really it is just a fore runner to a permanent split. Just goes to show, you never know what will happen in life!!!! |

| Ireland Trip..dohhh |
| 2007-01-12 |
I never did a post yesterday as I was quite busy at work, as I have found out that for the third time in 4 months I will have to go back out to Ireland to do work on instruments at another Pfizer pharmaceutical plant. Although I enjoy it in respect that it is something out of the ordinary for my job, it is a lot of hassle, so I was checking out flights and accommodation, organising equipment etc, on top of my existing work load. I will try and take some pictures and post them when I come back. The unfortunate part is that I have to fly out on Sunday 21st of January, which means I lose half of my weekend...bummer. I will be back on Friday 26th but if we get finished sooner it will be Thursday (hopefully). |

| OUR FRAGILE PLANET |
| 2007-01-10 |
I was watching another natural history programme last night, and I find them so depressing. Why? I hear you ask me. Well, I feel depressed because on these programmes you see how wildlife struggles to exists, the beauty of various places on Earth, and when the narrator makes the point that unless we humans make drastic changes to the way we pollute our world and control the way we destroy the natural landscape, a lot of species of animals will die out because their natural habitat will be gone for ever. Global warming is coming, and although it is an unfortunate but inevitable fact of life since the planet is warming up anyway, the pollution that America, China, India and those countries of the old Soviet blok produce are increasing the Global Warming by an alarming rate, some say they are speeding it up by up to 10 times. In 50 years time, over a hundred different animals will have lost their natural habit, sea levels will have risen several feet, flooding many low lying areas, and average summertime temperature will have increased by around 10 degrees Celsius. I just wish that the Governments of these countries would get their heads out of their arseholes and do something now, instead of worrying about the economical impact of reducing green house gasses etc might have on their economy, otherwise it will to late....for all of us on this fragile little planet. |

| Rocky & Nick support |
| 2007-01-09 |
10 out of 10 for rocky and nickster for running through the blogs and responding to questions, in particular the ones I asked them. It is nice to know you guys are there and do visit & respond. Shows that the good support is there as always. I look forward to seeing the latest improvements to shoutpost. I do like the format here as it is a lot more user friendly than tblog (no offence) Do you intend to do a shout box on here like tblurt or will you just keep the "recent posts" navigation as a way of seeing who has posted? |

| BLOG ROLL BUG |
| 2007-01-09 |
I have posted 2 links on my Blogroll. I noticed that when you put them in order of apperance, you need to do it when you first create the link. Doing the order after you have created the roll has the effect of making them all 1st. I think scribbles came across this problem yesterday |

| QUESTIONS FOR ROCKY & NICKSTER |
| 2007-01-09 |
I do hope Rocky or Nickster read this as I was wondering why they felt the need to create a new weblog platform. I did read the shoutpost news and that one of the reasons was that so many other platforms promise you free webspace with no adverts, and this is their intention with Shoupost, which can only be a good thing. - Why could they not alter Tblog to do this, or is it too well established to change?
- Will they try and stop the infestation of spam-bots as this really screwed Tblog up. I can only imagine it is difficult to stop this traffic once it gets a foot hold.
- Will they do something similar to tblurt? This is one of Tblogs major advantages over other weblogs, as you can chat instantly to other bloggers, promote traffic to your own weblog and instantly visit people who have just posted.
Do they intent to give you different versions of Shoutpost, so if you subscribe and pay a fee you get more facilities, or will it remain one version and free to all? |

| CIVIL LIBERTY RUBBISH |
| 2007-01-08 |
CIVIL LIBERTIES? This is going to be my first controversial subject I am going to talk about. I really do despise these civil liberty groups, as I find they do all the "do goody" stuff and end up making life a little less secure. They try and support the few at the risk of the many. "In what way" you might ask. Well here are a few arguments I have. - On the radio on Friday, I heard a report on the news that Police in Derbyshire were searching for 2 prisoners who had escaped from an open prison. They would not release pictures of the fugitives as it would breach THEIR (prisoners) civil liberties!!!!
WTF is all that about????????? What about us poor civilians who now know that there are 2 prisoners on the loose? Where is our civil liberties, our protection? - Whilst our Government have tried on numerous occasions to bring in tough anti-terrorism laws, civil liberty groups have successfully managed to get these laws watered-down.
Does this mean the protection of the masses has been compromised, just so we can allow a few immigrants/possible terrorists their civil liberties????? - The Government wants to introduce Identity Cards. I am fine with this, I have nothing to hide and it would not bother me if I had to show it to some inspector every day. And like the majority of the British public who have nothing to hide, we would feel a little more secure with these cards in use.
So why do civil liberty groups disagree with these ID cards? Maybe because all the people they are trying to protect are criminals, illegal immigrants and possible terrorists!!!!!!!!! The safety and security of Britain and it's people must be paramount, so surely the philosophy must be to sacrifice the few to save the masses, not the other way around!!!???!!! What is your point of view on this?? |
